Nepal Bank Level 6 Assistant Manager: official syllabus and study approach

NBL · Level 6

Version: Approved 2081/12/14; career listing 1 April 2025

Open official syllabus ↗

Nepal Bank’s official Level 6 Assistant Manager scheme has two three-hour subjective written papers, each worth 100 marks. Their broad areas are economics, money and banking; and management and finance. Use the full document to map the detailed syllabus.

Choose your materials by paper

Create a separate checklist for each paper. Mark which topics require definitions, calculations, comparison or analysis. Read the specified laws and directives from official sources rather than treating an old compilation as current.

Practise applying knowledge

For a concept question, explain its meaning and then apply it to a realistic banking situation. For a numerical question, show assumptions, formula, workings and units. For a recommendation, explain why the proposed action addresses the problem and what limits it may have.

Use a timed answer log to track incomplete points, factual errors and poor structure. Short MCQs can diagnose a gap, but they do not replace written practice for this scheme.
