PSC annual calendar 2083/84: planned Loksewa and bank recruitment windows

Banking exam study plan with a calendar, books and progress checklist

The PSC annual recruitment calendar for fiscal year 2083/84 is available on the official website. Its listing shows an upload date of 2083/04/01 BS. The four-page document covers federal civil services, security bodies and organized institutions. It is a planning calendar, not a vacancy advertisement or an application deadline.

Common federal open-competition tracks

Track in the calendar Planned advertisement window (BS) Planned first-stage written exam
Non-technical gazetted third class / applicable officer track Last Wednesday of Kartik Poush
Non-technical non-gazetted first class / applicable assistant-first track Last Wednesday of Mangsir Magh
Non-technical non-gazetted second class / applicable assistant-second track Last Wednesday of Poush Falgun

The calendar includes service-specific footnotes and separate first and second stages. Read the exact row for your service. The table above is a planning summary, not confirmation of a particular number of vacancies.

Banking and organized institutions

The organized-institution section places NRB in an Ashoj/Kartik advertisement group. RBB, ADBL and Nepal Bank appear in a Kartik/Mangsir advertisement group. These are the calendar’s planned windows; the institution’s actual advertisement establishes the post, seats, qualifications, fees and closing dates.

Unified pre-qualification planning

The calendar includes Level 4-equivalent and Level 5-equivalent unified pre-qualification examinations, with separate planned cycles. Their rows identify Shrawan and Baishakh notice windows and Ashoj and Asar examination windows. Do not assume that passing one level or one recruitment stage automatically satisfies another institution’s requirements.

Use the calendar in a practical way

  1. Choose the career and level you intend to prepare for.
  2. Find its exact row and any footnote.
  3. Work backwards from the planned examination period to set revision milestones.
  4. Monitor the official recruitment advertisement and amendments.
  5. After publication, record the actual normal and late-fee deadlines separately.

Some planned windows may already have passed when you read this guide. A calendar entry does not establish that applications are open today. The original document also provides for changes through the relevant processes; check later PSC decisions and institution notices.
